74.112.73.210: Jonas's parents are alive

In [[Happy Thanksgiving]], [[Jonas]] describes how his parents were lost at sea six years ago while sailing around the [[Longitude 140|140th longitude]]. A ranger station picked up a distress call from them, and a Coast Guard helicopter tried to find them, but was unsuccessful. Their boat, or its wreckage, was never found. After their disappearance, Jonas's nanny took care of him until he was 18.

Some users who don't trust Jonas have expressed doubt about the validity of the story.

In [[On The Road Again]], Jonas reveals that he has discovered evidence that his parents were involved in investigations of [[the Order]] around the time of their disappearance.

[[Alex]], the sister of one of Jonas's parents, is later introduced as a character. In [[Alex is...]], Alex reveals that Jonas's parents are in fact alive, and supposedly very happy.
